The area councilor Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, as municipal representative of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, received this morning, June 24, the new board of AMPA (Association of Parents of Students) from the center teaching music to their projects and transmit the support of the government team.
During the meeting, held at the administrative building of San Miguel, president of AMPA Jose Ramon Sanchez, accompanied by members of the board, explained the mayor the change made in the direction of the association after the elections last month may.
Similarly, Sanchez has informed the council about the project Orfeo, implemented in different cities of Spain like Madrid and Valencia, which is the creation of an integrated center that are taught jointly usual formal education institutes and music education.
For his part, Calderon has assured that the municipal government is happy to receive and collaborate with those associations and organizations that promote culture and education in our town.
