The councilor for the Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, accompanied by the delegate mayor of Social Services, Carmen Martin, have closed this morning the Arts Workshop during this course has remained engaged in various artistic techniques to older people who wanted sign up.
This workshop, which was attended by a total of twenty largest, has been taught by Juan Jose Quiros and has served to introduce students knowledge of polychrome painting on canvas, reliefs, decoration Birth and various techniques, combined with cultural outings to different exhibitions located in Cieza, Lorca and Murcia, as it was made to Salzillo Museum.
The course, which started on January 15 this year, concluded with a positive assessment by the participants, which will be reconvened for next September.
This workshop is part of the program for seniors and people with disabilities organized by the Department of Social Services and has served more than three thousand people in the six months that have developed multiple activities such as carnival higher , visits to cultural and leisure routes to know the history of Cartagena centers.
