The Roman Theatre will be open from Saturday under the moonlight (13/06/2016)

The Roman Theatre offers visitors a night visit to this iconic work driven by Augustus in ancient Carthago Nova.

The journey can experience firsthand in a relaxed atmosphere and exclusivity, a journey that begins at the Museum of the hand of a guide with a small group of people, discovering the keys of Roman civilization, to lead the jewel archeological Roman Theatre under the moonlight.

This activity offers two possibilities: the night visit with a guide or a dramatized visit with Aulaeum, below.

Lavisita guided Theatre under the moonlight will begin this Saturday, June 18, at 21:30 pm, and will be held on 2, 16, 30 July, 20 August and 10 September.

On the other hand, the dramatized visit Aulaeum, down the curtain, will be held Saturday June 25 at 21:30 pm also where the great Roman architect Vitruvius offer his vision of the theater and end of the trip will reencontrarás with classical theater Plautus hand.

The museum tour starts with the Museum, whose entrance is located in the Town Hall Square opposite the Town Hall, and is a trip back in time through its exhibition halls culminating with the unexpected appearance of imposing stands of the Roman Theatre.

After passing the gates of the museum, visitors will find the Corridor of History.

It describes the evolution of the solar urban theater explained from century to century BC, both illustrated with a selection of artifacts recovered from the excavation as graphic and audiovisual documentation.

The corridor leads directly into a large room seven meters high, Room 1, which serves as a perfect frame for exposing the elements that make up the monumental architecture of the theater of Cartagena.

Through an escalator leads to the second room, the larger the museum.
