David Martinez asks the Ministry of Culture to keep all lines of TAFAD in the IES Mediterranean (01/06/2016)

Councillor for Culture, Education and Equality, David Martinez, urge the Ministry of Education to keep all lines of the cycle Degree Animation Physical Activities and Sports (TAFAD), the Mediterranean Institute of Cartagena.

The Ministry has announced to the direction of the center of its intention to remove one of the lines, which would only be one class per course, considerably reducing the supply of places.

It is a nonsense.

This cycle has high demand of students, including waiting list.

If reduce supply many young people will be out to study TAFAD, destacaDavid Martinez.

The decision of the Ministry coincides with the implementation of the same degree of Cartagena campus of the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), which last year will not be authorized.

You always have to give priority to public education versus private.

It is not logical that lines are removed in a public school and are authorized in a private one, accurate elconcejal.

David Martinez agrees to file a motion to this effect in the full City Council and urge his fellow Regional Assembly to raise an initiative in this sense.
