Students turned into actors receive their awards at the closing ceremony of the XXVIII School Theatre (30/05/2016)

The modernist work par excellence of El Algar, Circus Apollo Theatre, has been the scene this morning of the closure of laXXVIII School Theatre Festival, which has gathered throughout the month of May students from schools in Cartagena to represent works such as ice kingdom, Today I can not lift me, the imaginary patient or the prodigious shoemaker.

To put the finishing touch to this event, the New School CEIP Fuente Alamo has made a musical representation entirely in English titled Boogie Days.

A dark-groovy musical comedy, in which the rhythm of mythical songs like My girl, Destination, Sunshine or Fever, small have delighted the audience with a story of friendship, love and dance.

Among the public the Councillor for Education, David Martinez, who has enjoyed front row of the whole performance and subsequently uploaded to the tables to make awards to the centers that participated was.

The mayor stressed the presence this morning of about 400 children, actors and actresses from different centers of our town in an event which has been more than 20 centers 5,000 spectators who came to see the works.

Thus, students and teachers Primitiva Lopez, the Occupational Center Canteras, the Stella Maris, the Sacred Heart of Our Lady of the Sea, La Concepcion, La Asomada, Virden del Carmen, José María de Lapuerta, the San Isidro Los Belones, IES Pedro Peñalver, Isaac Peral, Polytechnic IES and IES Los Molinos, have jumped on the stage and received applause and the award by the council.
