On Saturday the chairpersons and members of the polling stations are drawn (26/05/2016)

The City of Cartagena held on Saturday, May 28, the full draw regular members of the 255 polling stations to be installed in the city of Cartagena during the general elections on June 26.

The session will be chaired by the mayor, Jose Lopez, and in it a total of 2,295 citizens who exercise of chairpersons and members, members and alternates shall be designated.

It will be through computer system, which has three numbers indicate 1 to 999 to be applied by the Municipal Processing Center Data to the alphabetical lists of each of the districts of the tables to be installed in the municipality.

The ratio selected will be sent by the City Council in a few days to the Electoral Board, which is responsible for order notification to interested parties, which have a period to argue.

According to the electoral law, the president and member of the polling stations is a right and a civic duty, which can only be excused for incompatibility or force majeure, duly accredited.

In return the chairpersons and members receive some individual diets.

The census for these general elections in the municipality of Cartagena is composed of 151,682 voters, 67 more than in the past in December.

Polling stations will be located in the same locations of the last elections, except the two tables of the College of La Manga, which will be located in the local delConsorcio La Manga, next to the Hotel Los Delfines.
