The City Council will consider the installation of natural gas in municipally owned homes, benefiting families vulnerable (24/05/2016)

Councillor for Social Services City of Cartagena, Carmen Martin, held Monday a meeting with company representatives Pipelines and Assembly Southwest, which is conducting a round of contacts by the consistory of the region, in order to offer the possibility of assist in the installation of natural gas in municipally owned homes in favorable conditions, an initiative that would include the study of the exemption from payment of such a facility in cases where deemed appropriate.

Once the company has put on the table all the information, the Department will evaluate the proposal and taking into account other points of interest that could benefit families in especially vulnerable or provision of information to others interested, different options will be studied.

The meeting, which ended being summoned to another meeting, also attended by the coordinator of Social Services, Damián Pérez, and the coordinator of Prevention and Social Promotion, Lucia Hernandez.
