Pilar Aguilar is an essayist and critic of film and television.
Degree in Modern Philology at the University of Seville in Educational Sciences and Cinematographic and Audiovisual Studies from the University of Paris, has conducted various research on teaching and pedagogy of audiovisual and on the image of women in film and TV.
Their analysis, based on the feminist imperative to make the invisible visible focus on sexist and patriarchal manipulation of cinematic representation and try to irracionalizar the world that the dominant ideology constructed as natural.
For the general public, Pilar Aguilar was afternoon in El Luzzy presenting the book he co-authored Women, Men, Power.
