Subjectivities conflict is presented Friday at the Luzzy]

Within the program of the Department of Culture Read, think, imagine a new book Women, men, to be presented tomorrow, May 6, at 20:00.

Subjectivities conflict in the adult library cultural center Ramón Alonso Luzzy.

The book is a joint work of Almudena Hernando, Pilar Aguilar, Fátima Arranz, Julia Herce and Maite San Miguel;

published by Dream Traffickers.

Analyst and film critic Pilar Aguilar, co-author of the book, will be in charge of presenting the book and film director estaráacompañada by Cecilia Ibanez.

This volume, edited by Almudena Hernando, contains five articles about the construction of gender subjectivities.

The first two to movies and children's literature, understood as playback devices are engaged inequality because placed in the center characters, male desires and needs.

In conflicts between subjectivities created as male and female the last two chapters focus and show the different expectations of identity and relationship to which we grow and limit our potential for understanding and meeting.

If there is a world where patriarchy is entrenched more than any other, which resists the ravages of feminism, that's the emotions and feelings, subjectivity.

That imaginary and symbolic territory that sits deep in what is not said but feels, in whose power that we are not aware even, finally, is what makes us act in one way or another.

Pilar Aguilar is an essayist and critic of film and television.

Degree in Modern Philology at the University of Seville in Educational Sciences and Cinematographic and Audiovisual Studies from the University of Paris has conducted various research on teaching and pedagogy of audiovisual and on the image of women in film and on television.

Their analysis, based on the feminist imperative to make the invisible visible, focus on sexist and patriarchal manipulation of cinematic representation and try to irracionalizar the world that the dominant ideology constructed as natural.
