The Board of Trade of the City of Cartagena, meeting this morning under the chairmanship of Councillor of Finance.
Isabel Garcia, has awarded contracts for maintenance of public roads and telecare and home help, with considerable reductions in rates that enable more activities and services originally planned with the same budget, as noted by the Councillor.
So telecare service, with which it is given coverage and stays in constant communication with older people living alone, has awarded the company Televida, which charged the City 12.70 euros per month and terminal.
His offer was the highest score from the technically and economically.
The total budget of the contracts was 173,800 euros.
In the case of home care, with which domestic individuals and families living in situations of special need are given tasks, this service has been awarded amounting to 2.6 million euros to empresaArquisocial SL offer has been the most valued technically placing its price 12.55 euros per hour, on working days;
and 15.23 euros per hour, on holidays, which will serve more people and hours than initially planned.
With respect to this contract, exceeding 500,000 euro budget, the contractor must apply the social clause introduced by the municipal government in municipal contracts that obligate 3 percent of the auction price to hiring people with disabilities equal or above the 33 percent minimum income recipients insertion or long-term unemployed.
It will be the first time that this social clause applies in the city of Cartagena.
MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC ROADS

Lot III, corresponding to districts III, V and VI, amounting to 117,917 euros, was awarded to Mariano Conesa SL, with a discount of 43.10 percent over the initial rate.
The batch IV, VII for the district, amounting to 100,661 euros, was awarded to OPYCOEL with a discount of 42.15 percent over the initial rate.
Finally the batch V, corresponding to bacheo the municipality amounting to 69,843 euros, was awarded to Gonzalez Soto SA at a discount of 39.97 percent over the initial rate.
