The mayor, Jose Lopez, received this morning at the Palace Hall the episcopal vicar of the Diocese of Cartagena, Jose Abellan, who has moved him information about the Corpus Christi procession held later this month.
Abellán has invited, on behalf of the bishop, both Lopez and the rest of the municipal corporation to participate in this procession that will take place on Sunday May 29 and will travel, as is traditional, the main streets of the Old Town of Cartagena.
This procession receives in each edition to members of all the brotherhoods and hundreds of children who have received First Communion this year.
Prior to the tour, at 18.30 a solemn Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Santa Maria de Gracia.
