Lopez choose peace with Castejon and vote "no" to a moratorium contrary to the Mar Menor motion, according to PP (29/04/2016)

Jose Lopez has again corrected himself and has voted against a motion which reflected popular opposition mayors against all coastal urban moratorium on the Mar Menor proposed by the PSOE in the Assembly.

"After being presented as the leader of the opposition to the moratorium, Lopez has decided to vote in plenary against their own arguments to maintain peace with Castejon. He does not want more shouting and banging on the mayor in election time," he says the popular spokesman Francisco Espejo.

Councilwoman MC Maria Josefa Soler, which has had to defend the government, acknowledged disagreements within the government, but has said that only "technical discrepancies" and ended by explaining that the reason they did not vote the motion is that bears the signature of the Popular Party.

Mirror pointed out that these discrepancies were not technical, but draft because they have radically opposed positions regarding Novo Carthago.

The confrontation made his Deputy Mayor Lopez challenged herself to parase Novo Carthago if he transgress.

The popular group reported at the time that to get the problem mayor, Castejon Lopez responded to the challenge in the Assembly, proposing the moratorium.

On that occasion the mayor backed off for the first time and wanted to see that the proposal was the Government.

Three weeks later, he returned to take charge of the opposition to the moratorium.
