Totana and Caravaca, destinations municipal Hiking program and course, letters to the Image (13/04/2016)

This town in the region of Guadalentín account under conlugares cultural attractions such as the parish church of Santiago, La Torre, the Socio-Cultural Center Jail, the House of contributions or the Arch of San Pedro.

In addition, walkers visited the archaeological site of La Bastida, declared in 2005, of Cultural Interest.

This site is located in the Sierra de la Tercia about 6 km from the city center, it was occupied between 2200 and 1550 BC, and was one of the largest settlements of the early Bronze Age in Continental Europe .

Moreover, more than fifty members of the course entitled Of Letters to the Image, also organized by the Department of Social Services, visited the city of Caravaca.

Course participants began their tour of the Basilica de la Vera Cruz and once this visit attended the Mass Pilgrim.

Later they visited the House-Museum of the Wine Horses a tourist guide.

The Museum of Ethnic Music Barranda, of great interest for the authenticity of the pieces and the variety of cultures that houses marked the end of a day that participants described as extraordinary.
