The Virgen de la Soledad has returned to the chapel of Mount Calvary.
On the way four kilometers and accompanied by drums from the parish of Santiago Apostol to Mount, the traditional pilgrimage of Calvary honored on Sunday 13 March to the Virgin, taking her shoulders to the sanctuary surrounded by hundreds of devotees.
The mayor, Jose Lopez, actively participated in this act carrying the image until it reaches the mount with faithful and Admiral Arsenal Marcial Gamboa, among others.
On arrival at the sanctuary it took place Mass honor to the image, at which time he gave Lopez the distinction of Cofrade of Honor.
The pilgrimage takes place every year to celebrate the Feast of the Incarnation of the Son of God and walk 4 kilometers where it is accompanied by drums to the Virgin from the parish of St. James to the foot of the mountain, and at this point continues the courtship praying each of the stations of the Cross and singing the Salve.
