Patricia Garcia-Rojo approaches the Hache a story of robbers who travel through works of art (25/02/2016)

Lobo is a novel of great narrative robbers who travel to other worlds through art and where adventure, love stories, revenge, persecution and transformations stand as protagonists of history.

Thus Patricia Garcia-Rojo approached her novel Wolf.

The path of vengeance, written following a dream he had the author herself, a story that has positioned itself as the work of Hache Prize finalist.

Early in the morning the author visited the school San Vicente de Paul, accompanied by the Councillor for Youth, Ricardo Segado, to bring young readers his book, by a student of second degree college, a faithful follower of his work .

At 11:00 took place the regular meeting with 600 students Auditorium of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, presented by professor and member of the project promoter Ignacio Garcia Fornet.

She is the second of the writers of the Hache Award to visit the city to present his work, before the vote to be held in April.

The author has claimed to be delighted to be one of the selected, to experience, to know Cartagena, of being infected by the energy of readers, one of the greatest things about a writer, as stated.

Councilman Young, Ricardo Segado, wanted to encourage students to join the awards adding the need to continue promoting the Mandarache and Hache Award as measured from the City of fundamental importance for the promotion of reading Cartagena.

Proof that we are doing well is that gradually we have to go increasing the budget of the Department of Youth in the program Mandarache, that means that every time we have more readers and it works, he added.

This was the second meeting of Hache Award after the visit of Marinella Terzi. The turn of the last of the finalists candidates, Ana Alcolea, it will be in early March.

AUTHOR

Patricia Garcia-Rojo Canton (Jaén, 1984) has a degree in Philology and professor of Spanish language and literature at a high school.

In 2007 he won the Andalusian Youth Prize for Fiction for her novel The Factory Creator (Berenice), allowing it to publish between 2008 and 2014 the complete saga of Los Portales à ‰ ldonon consists of four books: Factory Creator, cinemas Somnios , La Última Musa and the headquarters of the Imaginatos.

In 2012 he published his first book of poems, love is here with Ediciones Torremozas.

In 2013 he was a finalist Wide Angle with Wolf Prize.

In December 2014 he released his second collection of poems The man, the house, the light (Ediciones Torremozas).
