Local police officers arrested at midnight on Sunday, June 27, a man 65 years old, a resident of Pearl, which had destroyed three ATMs with a hammer, he declared, was ruined and needed money.
The incident took place about 00:45 hours when the officers were commissioned to head to a bank branch in the Pearl District Highway where a guy was hitting a cashier with a hammer.
When they arrived they found the involved introduced within the institution, having broken a glass.
After identification, a unit of local police who also presented himself at the scene indicated that similar damage had occurred in two other area banks, and the description of the alleged perpetrator was fully in line with the detainee.
