The Governing Council has authorized a cooperation agreement with the Fishermen's Association of Cartagena for students who attend vocational training courses for Fisheries and Maritime Professional Family may use the facilities.
The term of this agreement is four years after its signature, and also provides that employees and workers of the Fishermen's Association can be formed through the certificates of this professional family and obtain a degree to facilitate their promotion professional.
The Secondary School Bastarreche Almirante Cartagena is the only center in the region that provides the title of Technician of Fisheries and Maritime Transportation, along with a wide range of training courses for different professional families and various training programs for active workers and unemployed.
The Ministry of Education, Training and Employment is planning to convert a Bastarreche Admiral IES Integrated Vocational Training Centre with the construction of a new building, besides giving the current supply of vocational training, become a benchmark within the Maritime Professional Family "Fisheries in the region and join the Network of Integrated Vocational Training Centres in the Region of Murcia.
