Looking ahead to summer, the local police in Cartagena has launched a campaign of Motorcycles, for about two weeks, to see that the city complies with the rules of their vehicles.
The controls are on the proper use of helmets, the possession of the card, insurance, roadworthiness of vehicles and noise pollution.
The director of Public Safety, Carlos Nieto, has reported that these days the staff of the local police are carrying out the municipality to control the motorcycle riders.
He explained that will not be kind to drivers who do not respect the rules as to take the license certificate, insurance documents and vehicle, as well as the protection of ITV, the latter in the event that corresponds to the vehicle.
These campaigns are usually necessary from the Department of Public Safety to improve road safety conditions.
Nieto stressed that the aim of this campaign is to prevent traffic accidents since the summer is when most people circulate through the streets of the city.
In addition, Carlos Nieto has been reported to be a campaign to measure the noise produced by motorcycles and thus disturb the neighbors.
To this was added the Director of Security, which throughout the year campaigning that control all types of cases such as school buses, seat belts, mobile phones, and motorcycles and the noise in the summer.
