[Social Services opens contact through the web and reinforces telephone attention to avoid displacement (19/01/2021)

| The Council maintains extraordinary services to help families forced to confine themselves due to contagion, four this weekend | The third pandemic wave continues to escalate in the municipality of Cartagena, which has a high cumulative incidence rate of Covid-19, and the Department of Social Services led by the Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo, follows reinforcing and reorganizing tasks in order to provide a quick and effective response to the numerous cases of care and assistance for people in need, in addition to continuing with the rest of the services of the municipal social services system . The new restrictions put in place to stop the contagion of Covid-19 has led the Council of Social Services to reinforce the services of attention to the public by telephone (access to the Social Services Point 968 12 89 66), and an online access has been enabled on the municipal website to which citizens can be directed so that they are attended by the staff of the council, avoiding travel to municipal facilities and thus reducing the risk of contagion . An online questionnaire has been established on the municipal website so that any citizen can present their demand and later it will be attended by the professionals of the council for its assessment and management.

In this way, access by different routes and its processing and response will be organized so that it is as immediate as possible. The Deputy Mayor of Cartagena and head of the Department of Social Services, Noelia Arroyo, has sent a message of tranquility to the population â € œso that they are sure that all municipal resources are available in terms of care.
