[The confined smiles of Pablo S nchez del Valle can now be seen in El Batel (21/12/2020)

| The 145 images that make up the exhibition have been compiled in a catalog, for sale for 15 euros, whose profits will go to the Cartagena Food Bank | Confinement marked a before and after in our lives and completely changed priorities, making contact and socialization one of our main needs.

Something that the photographer Pablo S nchez del Valle has been able to perfectly reflect in his exhibition 'Confined Smiles', which he presented this Monday, December 21, together with the Councilor for the Culture Area, David Mart nez Noguera and the president of the Port Authority, Yolanda Muñoz. The project was born precisely from that need for contact, which led him to visit the municipality during those hard months visiting friends and acquaintances who showed their appreciation from their balconies and windows and has resulted in a sample consisting of 145 images distributed in 7 large format canvases. The councilor of the area, David Mart nez Noguera recalled that this exhibition is part of the aid that the Councilor for Culture has launched to reactivate the cultural sector of the municipality.

"We are very happy to be able to present this project this morning, which Pablo S nchez del Valle presented to us as a project to help our artists for the Covid" said the mayor. With this project, "not only did I catch those smiles in the different windows and balconies during confinement, but also because she has such a big heart she has decided that all the benefits of this catalog will go to the Food Bank ", explained Martínez Noguera. An exhibition that was managed as a social project and that maintains the solidarity aspect by allocating the benefits of its catalog, valued at 15 euros, to the Cartagena Food Bank, whose representative, Juan G mez Ayala, He accompanied the presentation, in which he wanted to show his gratitude to the Cartagena City Council and the Port Authority "for this significant and extraordinary project." To get hold of one of the catalogs, it is necessary to enter 15 euros into the Banco de Alimentos account number, ES6521001546200200216524, with the concept 'confined smiles catalog' and contact via email (psvfoto @ gmail .com) with the photographer to request it. WINDOWS LOADED WITH HOPE Those who dare to visit this exhibition will also be able to enjoy the works of another 18 artists from Cartagena who have brought back to life three large windows, illustrating them with different techniques, which are opening up to hope as they pass phases of confinement. They are Kraser, Poli124, ngel Garc a Maci , Salvador Torres, Virginia Bernal, Puebla, PSVFoto, Bel n Orta, Soze, Pablo Cros, Fernando S enz de Elorrieta, Ana Gallardo, Leo B dalo, Crist bal Hern ndez, Flori, Iv n Urquizar, Calima and Karim Geo. For Pablo S nchez del Valle, the collaboration of these artists also seeks to highlight "that during all those months the artists have not been able to show their works to the public, but they have never stopped creating." The artist explained that "windows have been in my mind from the beginning and it is a pride to be able to achieve what we have built with them, for me it has a common thread that takes us through them to what I have lived in the moments of confinement ".

" I have built a story through the interventions of the artists ", concluded the author of the project. The exhibition can be visited in El Batel from this Monday, December 21, until next January 31 from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m.
