[The Palacio Molina hosts the exhibition M stil, Antonio Oliver's first collection of poems (21/12/2020)

| The exhibition will be available from December 23 to January 31 with a selection of original works and illustrations destined for the editions of the first works by Antonio Oliver and Carmen Conde | On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the edition of the first collection of poems by Antonio Oliver Belm s, M stil, on Wednesday, December 23 at 12:00, the book exhibition opens M stil in the Molina Palace, an act that is expected to be attended by the councilor of the area of ??Culture, David Mart nez, and the councilor delegate of the area, Carlos Piñana. The Cartagena City Council, through the Carmen Conde-Antonio Oliver Board of Trustees, wanted to remember the anniversary by organizing a series of commemorative activities. The exhibition De M stil a Brocal has been organized, which can be visited from December 23 to January 31 in the exhibition hall of the Palacio de Molina, in which a selection of works is shown and original illustrations for the editions of the first works by Antonio Oliver and Carmen Conde. In addition, the collection of poems, published for the first time in 1925 in the Cartagena press of M.

Carreño's widow, has been reissued.

A run of 500 numbered copies was made, which were put on sale for 3.50 pesetas each.

On this occasion, and again in the writer's hometown, the work has been published by the Carmen Conde-Antonio Oliver Board of Trustees, in co-edition with M.ª Jos V zquez & Francisco de la Iglesia.

It is a non-venal edition, limited to 1000 copies, of which 995 have been numbered in print, from 001 to 995, and 5 copies are numbered and signed by hand by the illustrator, Salvador Torres, from I / V to V / V. In the case of the reissue of the collection of poems, it is M stil (Cartagena, 1925-2020) on its 95th anniversary, whose illustrations are the work of the painter Salvador Torres; and in the case of Carmen Conde, Brocal (Madrid, 1929- Cartagena, 2019) on its 90th anniversary, illustrated by the artist Virginia Bernal. These works are contextualized with a selection of manuscripts, photographs, personal objects and other materials kept in the archives of both writers, located in the Municipal Archive of Cartagena and also with others provided by the co-editors of both publications: an original drawing by the painter Ram n Gaya, an oil by Wssel de Guimbarda, and a sculpture by Pablo Rigual.
