deos and, at the same time, collaborate to improve the quality of life of people with cognitive or functional impairment | The young Cartagenera Conecta y Act a Association, with the collaboration of the Cartagana City Council, launches the Solidarity Campaign "Connect with your Memories" with the aim of promoting solidarity action in favor of AFAL Cartagena and the Region. This initiative consists of people being able to send unique moments of the past to each other through Ovite photographs and, at the same time, collaborate to improve the quality of life of people with cognitive or functional impairment. The councilor delegate of the Social Services area, Mercedes García, explained at the meeting held this Tuesday, December 15, that “the campaign is designed to remind our loved ones of unique moments and make other people can also continue to remember their unique moments thanks to the work of AFAL Cartagena y Comarca ”. HOW DOES THE CAMPAIGN WORK? The person interested in sending a photograph and / or video to a loved one contacts Conecta y Act a (via Facebook or Instagram) and sends this photograph to them, indicating the recipient. Conecta y Act a gets in touch with that person and asks him or her to contribute through this challenge to AFAL Cartagena and Comarca in order to receive their “memory”.

Once the symbolic contribution has been made, Connect and Act will send this person their memory and share it on their social networks. The meeting was attended by the councilor delegate for Social Services, Mercedes Garc a Gomez, the head of the People with Disabilities Unit of the Cartagena City Council, Enrique Bocos, the vice president of the Conecta y Act a Association, Lola Mart nez Arag n, as well as Mar a ngeles Ramos Montoro, and Mela Ramos Montoro on behalf of AFAL Cartagena y Comarca, and Magda Lorente, head of volunteering at UPCT.
