| The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Bel n Castej n, thanks the company for its solidarity and the support provided to the City Council in the Operation of Social Emergency | The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Bel n Castej n, met this Tuesday, December 15, with the director of Sabic Spain, Juan Alemany, to show her gratitude for the numerous donations that the company has made to entities and municipal institutions during the pandemic. “Sabic has made donations for more than 150,000 euros, which have included sanitary material for the City Council and food products, among other products.
It is worthy of appreciation that in times as difficult as the ones we are experiencing, the companies established in Cartagena contribute to helping those who are going through the worst ”, highlighted the mayor, Ana Bel n Castej n. For his part, the director of Sabic Spain, Juan Alemany, affirmed in his meeting with the first mayor that "it is a real pleasure and pride to have been able to collaborate with the City Council of Cartagena in a moment as delicate as this, the needs are many and we have always been by the mayor's side to see in what kind of aspects we could contribute more and we hope we have been able to help ". Sabic has made donations from Epis to the City Council and the Murcian Health Service and donations to the Charity Hospital, the Food Bank, the La Aljorra and Miguel de Cervantes schools, the Santa Luc a Hospital, the Hemodonation Center , to the Association of Companies and Shops of La Aljorra, to C ritas employees, to La Huertecica, to the San Pedro Asylum Store Foundation, to the Good Samaritan Home, to Rascasa and to the Asylum for the Elderly, among other entities, for the amount of 158,368.48 euros.
