The Cartagena City Council is undertaking renovation work on public lighting in various parts of the municipality and soon it will be the turn of this town of the Llano del Beal county council, which will release new LED lights in five streets and a square. Thus, the Neighborhood Council, which is chaired by Carmen Soto, will undertake these works that will allow the replacement of old street lamps in the town with high-performance LED luminaires. “This year we wanted to dedicate a large part of the investment budget of the Neighborhood Council to continue replacing the old lighting with LED lights, which will improve the lighting of the town and will allow us, at the same time, to save energy ”, highlighted Carmen Soto. In total, 16 streetlights will be installed, which will be distributed between Muñoz Delgado, Salzillo, San Gin s, Viriato, Saavedra Fajardo and Plaza del Rosario streets. The project, which has a budget of 45,992.29 euros, will begin in the coming weeks and, foreseeably, will be completed in early 2021. NEW SOCIAL PREMISES BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR The City Council plans to inaugurate the new Llano del Beal social premises before the end of the year.

358,437 euros have been invested in this location, within the Neighborhood and Provincial Council Plan of the Autonomous Community, and, recently, the City Council has contracted the acquisition of new furniture for an amount of 15,388.78 euros.
