[The Port of Cartagena awards End-of-Degree and End-of-Master university projects within the C tedra de Medio Ambiente (10/12/2020)

Three opted for the award for the Final Degree Project and 1 for the Final Master Project.

These awards have been endowed with 1,000 euros for the final degree project and 1,500 euros for the final master's project.

This call has been aimed at engineers, graduates and masters of the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena who have presented in the 2018-2019 academic year, and whose qualification is equal to or greater than nine points.

Muñoz has highlighted that "we have allocated 215,000 euros to this Chair for the implementation of projects that are helping us to be ambitious in our commercial objectives and at the same time, respectful of our environment and its biodiversity, seeking that balance so necessary that allows us that coexistence between the activity, causing the minimum impact, and at the same time, promoting measures to improve and control the quality of water, air, noise and waste ".

It also makes available its own facilities that may be necessary for the development of the chair; promotes activities of dissemination, dissemination, communication and promotion of the actions carried out; and collaborates in the search for European funds and research destined to carry out activities related to the protection, conservation and improvement of the environment.
