| Each toy that is delivered to this campaign, the Port Authority will buy another like it in the same establishment where it was purchased | The workers of the Cartagena Port Authority have launched a toy collection campaign with the slogan "Bring a toy and we will buy another for you", adding to the traditional campaign carried out year after year by the Cartagena City Council so that no child is left without gifts on Three Kings Day. The president of the APC, Yolanda Muñoz, explained that "for each toy that is delivered to the Port Authority, we will take care of buying another one in the same establishment where it was purchased".
With this campaign, we set two objectives, for On the one hand, contribute our grain of sand on such special dates as Christmas and help those who need it most; and on the other hand, we want to support local businesses in the municipality that are also suffering from the coronavirus crisis ". Some toy collection dates have been established, on December 10, 15, 16 and 21 with two collection points, the Workshop building and the H roes de Cavite building.
"A team of volunteers from the Port Authority, retired workers who want to continue being part of this great port family, will be in charge of collecting the toys," said Muñoz In addition, the president has indicated that "the workers of the Port Authority have shown their most supportive side and from home we are carrying out a food collection to collaborate with the social entities of the municipality of Cartagena.
