The Governing Board of the Cartagena City Council has given the green light to the free transfer of a municipal plot of 1,015 square meters to the Autonomous Community with the aim that the expansion of the Barrio Peral health center can be carried out.The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, recalled that "it is a work in high demand by residents of the area" as it serves more than 20,000 health cards.It is a plot located within the partial plan of the central sector of Parque de la Rosa, located between Cilia de Jaca street and the extension of Juan Fernández, which appears in the inventory of municipal assets and rights with a valuation of 114,948.86 euros.“The Government team considers the improvement of the sanitary equipment of our municipality a priority, therefore in that same legislature we have begun the construction of the medical office in the town of Santa Ana, the project for the new clinic in Playa Honda is being completed and also we are about to finalize the administrative procedure to transfer a plot for the new medical office of the Polígono de Santa Ana by the regional administration ”, stated Castejón.
