| The Contemporary Holographic Museum has been carried out with the help of the Department of Culture for local artists affected by the crisis generated by COVID-19 | The technology of holograms reaches the Museum of the Roman Theater to show sculptures in three dimensions and with a movement that allows showing all their faces.

This Contemporary Holographic Museum is a new activity created by the sculptor Belén Orta and which is already operational in the museum. As explained by the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez, "this project is the result of the aid granted by the Department of Culture for local artists affected by the crisis generated by COVID19".

In this way, Belén Orta has created this virtual museum "to which pieces may be added, even by different artists, to offer a different way of enjoying art," said the mayor.Currently you can enjoy this activity both in the Museum of the Roman Theater and from homes through the internet.

In case of visiting the museum, the only thing necessary is for the visitor to carry a mobile phone to scan the QR code.

"Then the phone will be placed under a viewer and the holograms of the marble sculptures will appear in three dimensions, accompanied by music," said its creator, Belén Orta. The code can also be scanned from the website of the Roman Theater Museum, where the user is also explained how to create the platform at home to make the holograms visible.

The creator has assured that "it is very curious and seems magic."GUIDED VISITSThe Contemporary Holographic Museum can be learned in more detail from the hand of its creator through two guided tours, which will take place on Tuesdays at 11:30 am and on Fridays at 5:00 pm.All the safety measures indicated by the health authorities must be complied with and therefore the use of a mask will be mandatory during the activity and there will be a maximum of 5 people.
