Youth joins the awareness campaign on COVID-19 (06/11/2020)

| The objective of this campaign, launched by the General Directorate of Youth, is to inform and sensitize young people about the risks of COVID-19 as well as to give to know the contagion prevention measures | The Youth Council, through its volunteer program, Implica2 (Committed Young People), participates in the information, awareness and sensitization campaign aimed at young people in the Region of Murcia on the risks of COVID-19 as well as the contagion prevention measures that the General Directorate of Youth has implemented.'Success is continuing to add' is the slogan chosen for this campaign with which it is intended to launch a message of optimism and encouragement to all young people in the Region to continue acting responsibly on a day-to-day basis, with key actions to overcome this situation such as keeping your distance, always wearing a mask and washing your hands frequently."With this campaign we intend to remind young people that we have to be responsible and that we must all be very careful and take into account the three emes (wear a mask, hand hygiene and maintain a safe distance)", said the councilor of the area of Youth, David Martínez Noguera.In addition, the mayor also added that "our young volunteers are also showing the important work they do."The objectives of this campaign are to inform, sensitize and educate young people about the importance of security measures, achieve the commitment and involvement of the young population of the Region of Murcia with security measures and make them be the young people themselves those who promote this campaign and its message.The Youth Council, within the proposed actions, has had an information and awareness point today, located at its headquarters on Paseo de Alfonso XIII throughout the morning, with which, through the merchandising of the campaign, the awareness-raising work and in which the councilor for the Youth area, David Martínez, has been present.This campaign joins the action that began in September from the social networks of the Department with the same objective.
