| As with the rest of the restrictions, the duration of this measure will depend on the evolution of the pandemic in the municipality over the next few weeks | The operators of the Department responsible for Parks and Gardens have already been in charge of sealing the municipal playgrounds, following the decree published by the Cartagena City Council last Friday, October 30, which includes the closure of these public spaces , with the aim of minimizing contact between minors and avoiding crowds, both children and parents, in their vicinity.The closure of the playgrounds is framed in the new measures to tackle the curve of infections by coronavirus, and respond to the negative evolution of the pandemic, in the municipality of Cartagena and in the rest of the Region, as well as the need to limit to the maximum the exits of the citizenship for leisure reasons.The municipal government has already advanced that the duration of this measure will depend on how epidemiological data evolve in the coming weeks.
