Cartagena Piensa will debate on the post-Soviet space in the XXI century with the sociologist Francisco Haz Gómez (29/10/2020)

in the Luzzy library | Cartagena Piensa, the program of critical thinking and scientific culture of the Cartagena City Council, will debate this Friday, October 30, on the post-Soviet space in the 21st century with the sociologist Francisco Haz Gómez.

The talk that can also be followed online will be held in the Josefina Soria library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, at 8:00 p.m., with prior reservation at cultura.cartagena.es The event will be presented by María Jesús Morillas, from the group promoter of Cartagena Think. Francisco Haz Gómez's talk is entitled 'Geopolitics of a world in crisis.

The post-Soviet space in the 21st century: a dynamic context ', and in it it will be seen as 30 years after the disappearance of the USSR, the geopolitical scene of the region follows a process of constant dispute, redefinition, consolidation and intervention of different actors.

His preferred lines of research focus on fields such as youth, communication, ethnic minorities, and social policy with an emphasis on the countries of Eastern Europe.

He has been a doctoral researcher at the BNTU (Belarusian National Technical University), visiting professor at the University of Warsaw (Poland), at the University of Vilnius (Lithuania) and, at the postdoctoral level, at the Belarusian State University.
