The City Council meets with parents of Franciscans and Carmelites (28/10/2020)

| The two schools have requested to unify entrances and exits to avoid two of the four crowds that occur daily | The Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo, and the Councilor for Education, Irene Ruiz, met this Wednesday, October 28, with representatives of the parents of the La Inmaculada Franciscan School and the Santa Joaquina de Vedruna School.Fathers and mothers have informed municipal officials of their efforts to avoid two crowds of the four that occur daily.

To do this, they have requested to unify entry and exit in all Franciscan and Carmelite school courses and in this way minimize risks and protect the health of the students as much as possible. As announced by Noelia Arroyo, from the municipal government "we have shared information with the Ministry of Education in the last hours and it seems that what parents are asking for goes in the same direction as what the Ministry defends based on health reports public on the current situation ”.Therefore, the deputy mayor has indicated that "we know the proposals and they seem reasonable to us, because in the current context we believe that it is the most advisable.

I am convinced that the management of the center together with the educational and health authorities will make the best decisions for the benefit of the health of the students ".
