Health toughens measures in San Antón due to the high incidence of COVID 19 registered in recent days (19/10/2020)

The Ministry of Health has tightened the measures in the Cartagena neighborhood of San Antón due to the high incidence of COVID-19 that has been registered in recent days.

The new restrictions particularly affect local hospitality establishments and retail businesses. In this way, capacity in bars and restaurants in San Antón is reduced to 40% inside the establishments and to 75% on the terraces.

For their part, food and beverage stores will be closed from ten at night to six in the morning.Likewise, Health has placed special emphasis on the need to reinforce prevention measures, both in people over 65 years of age and in those who belong to vulnerable groups, for which it advises that they remain at home, except for carrying out activities of an essential or essential nature, minimizing their social interaction. The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, has called for responsibility and recalled that “the evolution of the pandemic continues to worsen in Cartagena and we cannot afford to lower our guard.

If we do not do all of our part to stop the contagion, the measures that Health has adopted for the San Antón neighborhood will have to be imposed in other neighborhoods.

The most important thing at this time is everyone's health ”.All these measures are temporary in nature and are accompanied by the obligation to comply with each and every one of the general prevention and hygiene guidelines contained in current regulations.
