| María José Soler: "The vice mayor accumulates more actions of doubtful legality than years registered in Cartagena" | As a result of the public presentation of the winning projects of the 'Plaza Mayor' project, promoted by the Port Authority, MC Cartagena has learned that Noelia Arroyo's family business was in charge of mounting this exhibition, shown to the media on last Friday. On this news has pronounced this morning the councilor of MC Cartagena and head of Transparency of the training, María José Soler, who has stated that "it could be anecdotal, if it were not for the deputy mayor of the PP, Noelia Arroyo, is adviser of this body and fits into the conflict of interest described in article 64 of the Law on Public Sector Contracts ".Given the situation detected, the mayor has advanced that "we will ask for explanations in the next plenary session because, if that were the case, the Arroyo family business would be immersed in a prohibition to contract (art.

71 of said Law) with the Port or the City Council , something that would not be fulfilling ".Soler recalled that "as if this were not enough, in the last plenary session, José López already uncovered that his family was charging the rent of a premises from a municipal subsidy of Social Services, an area that Arroyo runs."All these issues have led María José Soler to point out that "it is clear that using the gardeners of her neighbors is not the only irregular activity of the vice mayor of the PP that already accumulates more actions of doubtful legality than years registered in Cartagena."
