A sample of portraits where the painter has wanted to reflect the feelings and thoughts that accompany the lives of the protagonists of the paintings through oil. 'Etopeya en brushstrokes' was inaugurated this Tuesday, October 13, with the presence of the Councilor for the Culture area of ??the Cartagena City Council, David Martínez Noguera, and that of the author, Rosa Conesa Paredes, who signs her paintings under the pseudonym Papillon. In the presentation to the media of the exhibition, the mayor of the Cartagena City Council stressed that "It is not easy to describe the character, actions and customs of a person only through an image, it is even more difficult to this description through a painting, but Rosa Conesa has been able to capture in each of her works not only the expression of the face but even the feeling, even the thought that accompanies each person at a certain moment " For her part, the author pointed out: “I like to capture a moment of a person, a feeling, an attitude; all so ephemeral but so vivid.
So many feelings, so many thoughts that always accompany us, so many people with their lives, loves, pains ...
and we barely manage to perceive a minimum part of all this through their faces.
For me, painting these people is to stop in an instant, a grimace, a gesture that I can freeze falling into an ethopeian based on oil brush strokes.
