of Murcia, with all the political groups that comprise it ”, explained the mayor.Ana Belén Castejón has sent a letter to the member of the General Council of the Judiciary, Juan Martínez Moya, requesting that this body authorize the installation of a Commercial Court in Cartagena. The first mayor has requested it after learning that the Ministry of Justice has sent this Thursday the proposal that would allow the creation of two new Commercial Courts in Murcia, and being the General Council of the Judiciary who could decide the possible displacement of one of these courts to the municipality of Cartagena. Castejón has made this request through a letter in which he has transmitted the feelings and needs of Cartagena's society, also recalling the situation of the judicial district of Cartagena. "Our judicial party has obsolete and insufficient offices, with serious deficiencies in infrastructure, services and courts that must be resolved," said the mayor. The first mayor also added that "Cartagena society has come together to demand the construction of a new Palace of Justice and, while this infrastructure is not put into operation, it is necessary to carry out the creation of at least two courts, one of First Instance and another of Mercantile.

It is very important to respond to this great need ”.The mayor also recalled that "for Cartagena and our neighbors, Fuente Álamo and La Unión, the creation of this court is essential to avoid greater saturation of the courts and travel to Murcia."
