The round of contacts on the situation of plots continues in Los Urrutias and Santa Lucía (05/10/2020)

| The town of Mar Menor has 59 files, of which 21 have involved the cleaning of the plots; in the fishing district there are 26 procedures initiated, with two cleanings carried out by the owners | The round of contacts of the Department of Health with the neighborhood leaders of neighborhoods and county councils to contrast the situation of the municipal plots has continued this week with visits to Los Urrutias this Monday and last Friday to the Santa Lucía neighborhood.In the town of Mar Menor, the deputy mayor and head of Health, Manuel Padín, has held a meeting with the neighborhood president, Elena Lledó, and other members of his board of directors, at the foot of the field.

Thus, they have gone to Candil Street to check in situ the cleanliness of one of the private plots with an initiated file.

On the ground, the mayor has communicated that the Service has 59 open files, of which 21 have already resulted in the cleaning of the plots by their owners.

The rest follow the appropriate procedures that will entail, in the case of finalizing the entire process without the voluntary action of the owners, in a subsidiary cleaning by the City Council.As in the visits that have been carried out to other areas of the municipality, the councilor has requested neighborhood collaboration to follow up on the work carried out on the sites to update the municipal census.

It has also required the collective to report those parcels, if any, that are not on the list made by the Service.Regarding the fishing district, last Friday's visit allowed the neighborhood president, David García, to be informed of the opening of 26 files in the area, accounting for two cleanings by the owners.

The rest are in various phases of the procedure, from the first notification to the communication in the Official State Gazette (BOE) as a previous step to carry out a subsidiary execution.During this visit, the Deputy Mayor also reported the presence of two municipal plots on which the Health Department has already sent a notice to the Infrastructure area so that they can be cleaned, in order to avoid possible outbreaks of pests.For his part, the neighborhood leader proposed to use public plots to avoid the accumulation of dirt.

For this, it will send its proposal to the City Council, which will study its viability.

García also demanded the placement of posters informing citizens that depositing garbage in the lots is grounds for sanction, with the aim of persuading Cartagena of these acts.The round of contacts will continue next week, on Tuesday 13, in Barrio Peral; Likewise, on Monday the 19th they will go to Los Nietos.
