"The round trip Mercantil" (05/10/2020)

| Jesús Giménez Gallo, president of MC and deputy spokesperson of the Municipal Group | The month of October is here, a cold autumn in the weather that is hot in the social. The month began with the confirmation that everything from Cartagena costs us much more, not a little more or something more, but infinitely more. So much so that we are celebrating that the Commercial Court, which we were granted in 2018, is still unable to open, but it has not gone to Murcia. Although not even that is true, because the Court has gone to Murcia, as the Government Delegate (PSOE) has confirmed that there will be two new courts, one for Cartagena and the other for Murcia, to whom a judicial unit falls that In theory, it was not necessary nor have they claimed. Here I will make a subparagraph, the courts to exist must be open and attending judicial matters and, for years, for this to happen in Cartagena, premises must be rented by the Ministry, because there is no City of Justice, and the Government of Spain thinks that we Cartagena do not deserve it, although taxes do charge us. That said, our municipalities, Arroyo and Castejón, agreed to pay for a State lot to locate the City of Justice (I still wonder if the one with the occurrence is happy), which is up to the State to build. In turn, they have been playing for a year and a half not to offer a location for the Mercantile and Civil Court (which they have forgotten about the latter) and thus we have lost the Mercantile and regain the right to have it in a few days. I have to say that we discussed all of this on September 17 at the 'Justice Table' in Cartagena, which was not attended by the president of the Supreme Court, by the way, and in which Arroyo and Castejón realized that there is no agreement nor alternative land for the City of Justice and that will offer the Ministry a space that COEC has made available. For the umpteenth time, MC brought concrete proposals on the location of new headquarters (municipal building in Ronda Ciudad de La Unión or warehouse in Los Camachos, among others), or the City of Justice, but we only received evasions. A week later, on September 24, the regional government (PP) reports favorably that the merchant that was coming to Cartagena be installed in Murcia, and it does so in response to a proposal from the central government (PSOE). It is hard to believe that he did it without the approval of the TSJ of Murcia (in Murcia there are, at the moment, because there will be more, three times as many judges than in Cartagena). Arrived on September 29, and although we later learned that that same week there was a meeting of the Deans of Lawyers and Attorneys of Cartagena with the regional government, I made public what was happening. From that moment on, the news followed.

Some blaming others and others some.

The Bar Association leads the social claim that MC upholds politically, and we force change on everyone. None wants to confirm that it was in the garlic and all defend that the merchant go to Cartagena, something that would not be necessary if they themselves had not modified it. The last to fall off the donkey (the PP saw the waterway before) are those of the regional PSOE, whom the president of the Chamber of Commerce forces to defend the opposite of what they had processed. The end is that in Cartagena this Monday we have what we had before, the promise of a Mercantile and a Civil and in Murcia they already have a merchant, which they did not have or are known to have asked for. So I want to think that we will have Mercantil, but the merchants are still inside the temple. And if we are not always, on a daily basis, wide awake and all together, we Cartagena will continue to be the scapegoats of all this. And I insist, this is only the Mercantil ...
