MC Cartagena demands the reports of experts to conclude the declaration as BIC of Cerro del Molinete (29/09/2020)

| María Dolores Ruiz: "Against the will of Castejón and Arroyo, we seek to stop the irreversible effects of construction on it" MC Cartagena continues to prioritize the safeguarding of heritage in our municipality on its agenda.

On this occasion, the councilor of our municipal Group responsible for the matter, María Dolores Ruiz, has reported the brief presented today before the Ministry of Culture in order to "collect reports from the consultative entities to resolve the declaration as BIC del Cerro del Windlass that we requested last August 12 ". The objective of the communication issued by MC has been explained by Ruiz.

"It is about ensuring that the decision departs from the political guidelines and that the Ministry technicians have these external and independent reports that relieve them of the pressure." After the affirmation, the mayor has clarified that "this caution, which should not be necessary due to the evidence that the Hill and its slope are a sensitive archaeological zone, also due to the expectations that the Palace of Asdrúbal hides, is essential when he tries to report a request that seeks to stop the irreversible effects of the construction on him ". Subsequently, the Cartagena councilor has regretted that Arroyo and Castejón continue to prefer "to make money to build a future; the Barreiro model of emptying neighborhoods, devastating heritage and generating balls." The Cartagena leader has concluded by stating that "they want a new 'New Door'.

But Cartagena society opposes this form of prostitution with arguments and, of course, so do we."
