The film has won the Special Jury Prize for best picture at the Jeonju International Film Festival in South Korea and has won the Special Jury Prize at the same festival.It will premiere in the Official Selection at the Seville European Film Festival in November, and is selected at the 2020 Lisbon International Indie Film Festival.
It has won the Film Forward award for best film at the Thessalokini International Festival, the Grand Prize for best film at the Cinéma du Reél Documentary Film Festival and has also won the Library Jury Prize along with the film Makongo, by Elvis Sabin Ngaibino.
