The Roman Theater relives the history of Carthaginians and Romans (18/09/2020)

| In the month of September activities take place every Saturday with "Scipio versus Hannibal, the battle continues" and Sundays with the guided tour, "Citizens of an Empire" | On the occasion of evoking the Carthaginian and Roman Festivities, which this year will be celebrated virtually in September, the "year of the Truce", the Roman Theater Museum and Cartagena Puerto de Culturas propose routes and activities to relive their history.SCCIPIO VERSUS ANIBAL, THE BATTLE CONTINUESLike every Saturday in September, on September 19, the family activity, "Scipio versus Hannibal, the battle continues" takes place at 11:00 am.

This visit allows participants to learn about the most relevant events of the Second Punic War, the founding of Qart Hadast, the conquest of the city and its protagonists, Hannibal and Scipio, as well as one of the most emblematic buildings of the Roman legacy in Carthago Nova the Roman Theater, which was built in the time of Augustus.The children will be part of a troop or legion, and will celebrate their triumph at the Roman Theater in Cartagena.Also on Saturdays, the “Carthaginians and Romans” guided route takes place.
