The Parish School of La Encarnación, prepared for the return of the students (11/09/2020)

Next Monday the Primary students will return to the classrooms and then the Secondary students will.

According to the possibilities of each center, everything is prepared to receive the schoolchildren with the security measures established by Health during this pandemic caused by the coronavirus.

At the Parish School of La Encarnación in Barrio Peral de Cartagena, which depends on the parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, preparations are being completed today to receive students next week.The school, like the rest of the centers, has had to adapt to be able to comply with all the security measures, for that reason, following the indications of the Ministry of Education, the center has prepared a contingency plan that, according to the academic director, Ascensión Hernández, is continually changing for the good of the students.

Among the measures adopted in this plan, the circuit that has been carried out, respecting the security measures, for the entrance and exit of the center of the students, which will also be done in a staggered manner at different times; at the entrance the temperature will be taken, even if the parents have already done it before leaving home; recess hours have been divided; and the hours of cleaning for the disinfection of the facilities have been increased.

Also,Following what is determined by the Ministry of Education, a schedule has been established for students to go to the center four days a week, taking into account the family conciliation, since in many cases there are several children from the same family at school.The 70 Kindergarten students and the 155 Primary students will begin classes on September 14, with an adaptation period during the first week; While the 120 from Secondary will join on the 15th.

"We have been working all summer to have everything prepared, looking forward to the arrival of the students, whom we have not seen for six months," Hernández highlights.The parish priest of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and general director of the center, Miguel Ángel Saorín, assures that La Encarnación is a family school: “Being a small neighborhood school, the student is not just another file, but we know all families, their problems, and we treat the student in an individualized and personalized way, with affection and always trying to help ”.From the center, which began operating four decades ago, they want to send a message of reassurance to parents: “We do not doubt that we will have complicated situations, but we will solve our day-to-day problems, counting on the help of God, that he is the main protagonist of our school ”, explains the priest.
