| In one day, visits must be made by appointment to guarantee all the security measures of COVID19 | As is already tradition in Cartagena, Cartagena Puerto de Culturas opens its doors for free next Friday, September 25, coinciding with the local holiday, in a day where visits must be made by appointment to guarantee all the security measures of COVID19 .The delegate councilor for Tourism, Cristina Pérez, explained that “the Carthaginian and Roman festivals have had to be suspended, but we are joining the year of the holiday truce, and we do not want to miss the opportunity to offer the possibility of visiting in a free, as every year, our museums and sites, but this year the novelty is that visits must be arranged by appointment, to comply with the protocols established by COVID, maintaining all the measures that guarantee the protection of visitors and tourists ”.Thus, throughout the day and at their usual hours, you can visit the museums and archaeological sites of the Roman Theater Museum, the Punic Wall, the Casa de la Fortuna, the Museum Refuge of the Civil War, the Castle of La Concepción, the Christmas Fort and the Roman Forum Quarter.

For a better organization of this day, 10 people will be allowed access every half hour, with prior reservation, to the different museums and sites.HOW TO MAKE THE RESERVATIONThe registration period to reserve and gain access for free opens on Monday 14 and closes on Wednesday 23 September in the morning through different phone numbers:Telephone 968 50 00 93 to visit:Punic Wall, Concepción Castle, Civil War Shelters and Roman Forum Quarter with passes from 10:00 a.m.
