The reduction of capacity and meetings of people comes into force to avoid the spread of the coronavirus (26/08/2020)

| Only a maximum of six non-cohabiting people will be allowed, while the celebrations will have a maximum of 30 guests and the funerals will be limited to 15 attendees inside and 25 outside | The Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia has published today Wednesday, August 26, in a supplement, new limitations on the attendance of people in meetings, events and celebrations, both in public and private spaces, with the aim of curbing the spread of the coronavirus.The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, has appealed to the responsibility of all citizens to comply with and respect these measures, given the worrying situation of new cases.The measures adopted by the regional government through the Ministry of Health generally limit participation in any group or meeting of a private or unregulated nature, to a maximum number of 6 people, taking place both in public and private spaces, except cohabiting people.On a temporary and exceptional basis, in the hotel and restaurant establishments the maximum number of occupants of the tables or groups of them is established at six people, except in the case of cohabitants, and without prejudice to the possibility of providing bar service respecting the minimum interpersonal distance of 1.5 meters.In the case of wedding celebrations and other civil and religious ceremonies, the maximum number of participants will be thirty people, both indoors and outdoors, who must remain seated.The owner of the establishment must designate a person responsible for compliance with the regulations at each celebration who will have the obligation to record the data of the workers and participants so that, where appropriate, they can be used in the epidemiological investigation of contacts.The maximum number of assistants to funerals and funeral or cremation groups, both in public and private facilities, will be fifteen people in closed spaces and twenty-five in open-air spaces.Finally the activity of brothels or hostess clubs is suspended.The measures that affect the municipality of Cartagena in its entirety, have entered into force today, after its publication and its non-compliance will be subject to complaint and sanction.
