| This subsidy is included in the PDR of the Region of Murcia and the EAFRD funds, which will invest 20 million euros in rural roads throughout the Region | The Cartagena City Council will fix the rural roads from Los Cañavates to San Isidro and La Corona through the subsidy granted by the Rural Development Fund 2014-2020, within the PDR of the Region of Murcia and the EAFRD funds, where they will be invested on 37 rural roads throughout the Region of Murcia with a budget of 20,000,000 euros.The councilor of the Decentralization Area, Diego Ortega, has said that "it represents an investment of about 320,000 euros in two rural roads in high demand by residents and that will allow to contribute to the maintenance and sustainable development of the rural areas of the municipality" and explained that "this is the first step for its enhancement.

Now, the Autonomous Community must draft the projects and take them out for hire."The Cartagena City Council presented itself to this second call in 2018 with four paths, of which two have finally been granted.

The Camino de la Corona has 2.6 km and on the way from Los Cañavates to San Isidro it has 2,951 km.The Rural Development Program 2014-2020 of the Region of Murcia (PDR) is one of the main instruments of the structural agrarian policy that the Region has to articulate actions, aid and investments aimed at rural areas of the Murcia Region.

The PDR is co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), responds to the provisions of the Community Guidelines for Rural Development 2014-2020 and is consistent with what is established at the national level, National Strategic Plan for Rural Development and National Framework) .
