| The winners will have the opportunity to record their own single and to rehearse their songs in the appropriate facilities for it at the Youth Center of Canteras | On the occasion of the last edition of the celebration of the Music Festival, the Youth Department announces its first Youth Music Contest, with the aim of promoting, promoting and publicizing local talent.
As indicated by the councilor for the area, David Martínez Noguera, the contest may include young people or groups of young people, aged between 16 and 35 years.The deadline for submitting applications will begin today on July 13, 2020 and end on August 11, 2020.
The projects will be submitted, together with the corresponding documentation, electronically, through the electronic headquarters of the Cartagena City Council. The prizes to which these young people may choose consist of:A first prize that will enable the recording, mixing and mastering of a single, in addition to its musical production, in the facilities that the Department of Youth has at the Youth Center of Quarries.A second prize will be made available to the classifieds and for one year in one of the rehearsal rooms located, also, in the Youth Center of Canteras.
In addition, both winners will be invited to participate in the 2021 Music Festival.Thus, the mayor David Martínez recalled “the possibility of recording a single or having access to the facilities of the Youth Center of Canteras to carry out rehearsals seems to us the best way to enhance the talent of our young people so that they continue to marvel at new jobs in the future".Those interested in participating will find all the information and bases on the website of the youth event.cartagena.es/fiestadelamusica or by contacting the organization via email fiestamusica@ayto-cartagena.es.
