| Local Police has 8 patrols in Cabo de Palos and La Manga and two more in the Mar Menor area and start a campaign on social networks to discourage young people and raise awareness about the health situation | The area of ??Citizen Security of the Cartagena City Council has prepared a special device to control the bottle in the coastal areas of the municipality, in the face of the proliferation of announcements on social networks about mass gatherings of young people to consume alcohol on public roads."We remind all citizens that the consumption of alcohol on the street is strictly prohibited by municipal regulations, but to this we must add that the health situation is not the most appropriate for mass meetings, especially if the measures of distancing or masks are not used, "said councilor Juan Pedro Torralba.In this way, the Local Police already has a total of 8 patrols in the most conflictive areas of Cabo de Palos and La Manga, in addition to another 2 units that cover the towns of the Mar Menor.

Similarly, there is an ordinary device with 5 units in Cartagena city and one more patrol in each of the six districts, including the beaches in the west of the municipality.The Department has also requested the collaboration of the Civil Guard to cover the area of ??beaches that have already confirmed the presence of at least 5 patrols.At the same time, a social media campaign has been launched as a deterrent against big bottles, also preventing that the situation due to COVID19 requires maintaining social distance and wearing a mask.

"We want to make it very clear that anyone who fails to comply with these measures or the regulations that prevent drinking on the street will be penalized," concluded Torralba.The consumption of alcoholic beverages on public roads, known as bottling, is prohibited.

Added to this is the exceptional health pandemic situation caused by COVID 19 and the need to avoid crowds.During the holidays, the rules of social distancing should be maintained and concentrations should be avoided, to continue containing the spread of the virus.
