Lola Martínez Aragón, Extraordinary Youth Prize 2020 (03/07/2020)

| The award, which is organized every year by the Department of Youth, aims to recognize young people from the municipality who have demonstrated a talent or initiative that distinguishes them from the rest | The young Lola Martinez Aragón has been the winner of the Extraordinary Young Award 2020, which is called each year by the Department of Youth.

The main objective of this award, which has been chosen by young people between 14 and 30 years old born or residing in Cartagena, is to recognize the figure of young people from the municipality who have stood out throughout the previous year or have a long professional career in different fields, demonstrating a talent and initiative that distinguishes them.On this occasion, four applications from different sectors have been presented, among which music, social volunteering, hospitality and entrepreneurship stand out.The jury, chaired by the councilor for Youth, David Martínez Noguera, and acting as spokespersons for the municipal technicians of the councils for Sports, Social Services, Education and Youth, as well as a representative of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, met last Tuesday .

After selecting the three finalists: Alvaro Pintado Hernández, Adrián García Benedited and Lola Martínez Aragón, the Award has finally gone to Lola, for her career and work over the years in the area of ??social volunteering."We have been surprised by the amount of support that this application has received and the large number of NGOs and associations in which Lola Martínez has collaborated and worked, of which her work in the Ivory Coast or Malavi has been especially highlighted," explained the councilor.This award has an economic endowment of 1,000 euros.CURRICULUM LOLA MARTÍENZ, Cartagena 1991.Degree in Law, University of Murcia.

She is currently responsible for projects with the third sector at the Pro Bono Spain Foundation and Project Coordinator in Malawi at the Candelaria Solidarity Foundation; She has participated as a volunteer in many entities from 2011 to the present, among others:Foodie Angels (Legal Manager), Moviment Quart Món (Leisure and free time monitor), CONEX (French teacher), SED (volunteer in Ivory Coast), ACCEM (English teacher), Little Sisters of the Poor (Attention to people older), CHRU in France (Leisure activities in the department of childhood oncology).The 'Think Big' (telephone) entrepreneur has been recognized for the 'I · M IN' project.

She is also a playwright, director and theater actress (Melodramarte and Divarte) from 2015 to the present.He has national and international support for his candidacy for his outstanding work in the world of social volunteering and solidarity.
