Some thirty unemployed people enrolled in the ADLE participate in the selection process of a Cartagena cleaning company (28/06/2020)

| The Employment Agency has provided a total of 35 candidates who, due to their work experience, adjust to the profiles that the company demands | More than 30 people participate these days in the selection processes of a cleaning company in collaboration with the Local Development and Employment Agency of the City of Cartagena (ADLE).

Since last May, the ADLE has been collaborating with the Domum Trade Administration department for the pre-selection of candidates for the incorporation of various jobs that will cover the needs of the company.The selection and interview process has started this week at the Training Center that ADLE has in the La Milagrosa building.

For this, the company has the technical support of the ADLE staff, with whom they can attend to the flow of people who will carry out the interviews in these municipal facilities.The selection process is being carried out following the safety, prevention and social distancing standards recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Prevention (CDC) against the exposure and transmission of COVID-19.Specifically, the ADLE Placement Agency has provided some 35 candidates who have been previously shortlisted from its database of job seekers, according to the profiles required by the company and that were adjusted to cleaning staff in buildings, windows, domiciles or maintenance with experience acquired in the requested positions.In addition, after the selection process, the company will create an employment exchange for future insertions.It so happens that Domum Trade arose thanks to another service offered by ADLE.

Its founder, Elena Martínez, was one of the participants in the fifth edition of the Entrepreneurial Creation Generation program, which allows entrepreneurs in the municipality of Cartagena to acquire the necessary skills to develop their project.Thus, during the fifth edition, which took place between February and April of the same year, the participants received, from experts in entrepreneurship, workshops in digital marketing, canva, financial management, social networks, business skills, legal training, employment and prosecutor who helped them develop their business model.

Everything, to favor the creation of relationships between the participants."The formation of the Entrepreneurial Generation program was the last push for the start-up of Domum Trade, which now relies again on the ADLE for the selection of personnel," said the Councilor for Education, Employment and Business and president of the ADLE Irene Ruiz.“The ADLE, through its Placement Agency authorized by the SEF, offers companies a completely free labor intermediation service, in order to provide unemployed people with a job appropriate to their personal and professional characteristics and, on the other hand, "In part, it provides companies with the most appropriate workers for their needs and requirements, ensuring the confidentiality of company data," said Irene Ruiz.“Right now, because of the COVID-19 health crisis, the cleaning sector is experiencing an increase in personnel needs; With the new additions to this Cartagena company, and thanks to this ADLE service, unemployed people will be able to access a job that fits their work experience, ”he concluded.
