| The interior structure is already in place, a protective mesh will be put on the facade and the demolition and emptying of the ruined building is being completed to transport the rubble generated | The Urbanism area of ??the Cartagena City Council has inspected this week the execution works of the structure intended to stabilize the ruined building located between Aire and Cuatro Santos streets, which collapsed last February, causing in its day the cut from both streets. In addition to the structure to prop up the building inside, which is already in place, a protective mesh will be installed on the entire façade to prevent future fragments from falling onto public roads. The demolition and emptying works of the property are also being completed, pending the collection and transport of the debris generated by said action. It must be remembered that, as a consequence of the collapses in this building, the adjoining one was also inspected at the time, located in the alley of San Isidoro, on whose dividing wall with the construction of the Calle del Aire, long cracks were observed and considerable thickness that made fear its possible collapse. For this reason, from Urbanism its demolition was ordered, which will be carried out during the next week since it could not be carried out until the works of the adjoining building had been completely completed.

For this action, the necessary security measures will be taken to protect the people who reside and transit in the area.
